This new version, expected in December 2019, will include many new features, many of which are the result of customer requests. We remain convinced that innovation and listening to our customers are the driving forces behind our development. At the same time, our current applications continue to improve both in terms of functionality and ergonomics to better meet the needs of users for autonomy.
Among the main new features of KSL Suite 8, the focus has been on the KSL Studio design tool. The work interface has been modernized: better identification of workspaces, reorganization of functions, new tools for creating components and the arrival of a navigation view, which provides a true mapping of the components of the document model. We are convinced that these new features will bring even more productivity to model designers and indirectly greater maintainability of document models.
The KSL Office portal, for its part, continues its strategy of giving ever more autonomy to business users: thanks to KSL Office, a user creates and modifies not only the image and text content of their customer communications, but now also the style sheets that implement their company's graphic charter.
The KSL for Salesforce® plug-in, demonstrated at our User Meeting in March 2019, also continues to evolve. This fully integrated and Salesforce-enabled connector allows you to compose and write all your customer relationship documents in a secure environment, leveraging Salesforce's standard features. Version 1.6 of the connector includes a whole range of email-related features: sending a document by email in two clicks for your sales representatives, building a library of response emails for your customer relationship management teams, and building and sending emails to better communicate with your customers and prospects. It will be available on the AppExchange in a few weeks.
Finally, the KSL solution's server software has been beefed up for seamless use in the cloud: numerous security fixes have been made and oAuth2 authentication support has been added for Single Sign On operation.
From now on, our sales and technical teams are available to answer any questions you may have regarding the many improvements and new features of KSL Suite 8.
